Sessie 1: My life is failure

My Life is Failure
This year's results show a marked increase in project success rates. In this presentation we will look at the numbers and the reasons behind this increase. We will cover the Ten CHAOS Factors of success and their laws. We look at how organizations can use these laws in their project management ecosystem. We will look at case studies for each of the factors and consider why the project was either a success or failure. We will look at and consider the agile process, project optimization and emotional maturity.
Round table activity: My life is Failure
In this chapter, we will look at three major items: decision making, project optimization, and executive management support. In decision-making we will look at the make-up of project decisions, how decisions get made and how to improve both accuracy and speed. In project optimization we will consider methods to improve optimization and increase project velocity. We will have a special focus in this presentation on the executive sponsor or project owner. This will cover the kinds of skills and impact these skills have on a project success and failure.
Question 1: How would you rate your organizations decision speed?
4 = Swift
3 = Calculated
2 = Protracted (To draw out or lengthen in time; prolong: disputants who needlessly protracted the negotiations.)

Question 2: Within your project portfolio are redundant, not needed or have low value items above or below the average?
4 = Above average
3 = Same as the average
2 = Below average
1 = Not needed
